Bishop Sidney & Lady Ronda MarionBishop Sidney A. Marion is a native Houstonian and an extraordinary man of God. He attended Houston Community College and The College of Biblical Studies (CBS) where he received an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies. He plans to continue his biblical education by pursing a Bachelor and Masters of Divinity. Pastor Marion has been employed at the Houston Methodist Hospital for the past 20 years.
Bishop Marion accepted the call to preach God’s Word early in his Christian walk. He served under the ministry tutelage of Rev. Herbert Stroman, Pastor of Christian Hope Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. There he served as an Associate Minister. In 2001, he united with the St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Humble, Texas, where he served as Youth and Associate Pastor. There he led youth and adult Bible Studies and managed the youth department’s budget, events, and programs. He served St. Luke faithfully until God placed a calling on his heart to plant a seed for a new, spirit-filled, and anointing ministry led by the Holy Spirit. In June 2007, that calling became a reality with the birth of New Beginnings Community Church of Humble. Pastor Marion was ordained and consecrated as state Bishop for Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas, November 22, 2013 under the leadership of Apostle Pierre Bryant with Repairers of the Breach Global Assemblies. Not only is Bishop Marion an anointed man of God, he is also the devoted husband to Lady Ronda Marion, father to their children, and “Pop” to their grandchildren. Bishop Marion is a preacher who is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He believes in proclaiming the Word of God with all that is within him. Bishop Marion has a “heart for the people” and demonstrates this to the congregation in all that he does. He often shares and fully believes the following statement: If you be Faithful to God, He will be Faithful to you! |
